Joyce Marilyn Damato, 79, returned to God on April 21, 2018 in Lancaster, PA. She was born December 24, 1938 in Staten Island, NY. Being a Christmas Eve baby always made her birthdays joyful because of her faith and love in God which was always apparent throughout her life. Joyce was always fair and gentle and always had a kind word for those around her. Despite the long struggle and difficulties her health and circumstances presented, she is now at rest. Joyce was a proud, protective and loving mother to Bobby Zimmerman, Anthony and his wife Julia Damato and Joyce and her husband Rino Gandolfo. Her loving thoughts always remained for Anthony Damato, even toward the end of her life. She was from a family with three brothers, Roger, Richard and Russell and she was preceded in death by a sister Lorraine.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, Thursday, April 26, 2018 with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 am at St. James Catholic Church, 505 Woodcrest Ave, Lititz, PA 17543, burial will follow in Witness Park Cemetery, Lititz.
