Joyce Louise Calhoun, 83, of Jamaica, NY, passed away on January 21, 2025 at her residence. Born in Port Jervis, NY, she was the daughter of the late George F. and Sadie (Mitchell) Calhoun.

Joyce worked as a social worker for the New York City for many years before her retirement in 1998. She ran numerous marathons including the NY marathon. She enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her sister, Valerie Calhoun and 26 nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her siblings: James Calhoun, Diane Butz, Lilda Olague, and Kenneth Calhoun.
