Josephine A. (Spadea) Shenk, 96, of Lancaster, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2019, at Trellis Supportive Care in Winston-Salem, NC. She was the wife of the late James P. Shenk and the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Teresa (Voci) Spadea.

She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She is survived by a sister, a daughter, six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Her parents were born in Italy and she was one of ten children.

Josephine was formerly employed by RCA as a quality inspector. She was also a licensed cosmetologist and beautician, and operated a beauty shop in Lititz PA. She loved spending time with her family, collecting family pictures and history, crocheting, crafts, yard sales, antiquing, playing cards, and bingo.

She was a member of St Richard Catholic Church in Manheim PA. Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Liturgy in memory of Josephine at 11:00am on Tuesday, June 25 at St Richard's Catholic Church, 110 N. Oak St, Manheim PA. A viewing will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am at the church. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
