Joseph  F. Schroeter, 73, of Lancaster passed away on Monday July 21, 2008 at his residence. Born in Ashland, Pa, he was the son of the late Oswald and Theresa (Berg) Schroeter.

Mr. Schroeter was employed by the National Bearings Company as a maintenance worker for approximately 40 years. He served his country in the Army.

Surviving is his sister Josephine Uzupis of Lancaster and nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a sister Dorothy Selinsky.

A Christian Prayer Service will be on Friday July 25 ^th ,2008 at 10AM at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home Inc, 414 East King St. Lancaster PA 17602 with Father Daniel Mitzel officiating.  There will be a viewing from  9AM until the time of the service.
