Joseph C. Ryan, 62, of Lititz, died Monday, May 8, 2006 at Ephrata Community Hospital.

Born in Shenandoah, he was the son of the late Joseph J. and Mary Ellen Johnson Ryan. He was the husband of Nancy Selinko Ryan.

Joe worked for over 35 years in the publishing industry, most recently at Cadmus Inc., Ephrata, as a type setter. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Ryan loved to follow college sports especially Notre Dame. He was an avid golfer and helped to organize golf outings with the Brunnerville Hotel.

Surviving besides his wife are two children, Kelly, wife of Troy Summers of Akron, and Shawn Ryan of Philadelphia, and a granddaughter, Keya Rose Summers of Akron.

Funeral Services will be held at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home and Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA on Friday, May 12, at 12 noon. Friends may be received at the funeral home from 10AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in the Brunnerville United Methodist Cemetery.
