Joseph P. Penna, Jr., 49, of Columbia, passed away on, Saturday, March 16, 2019 at UPMC Pinnacle in Lititz after a brief illness. He was the loving husband of Barbara (Brandt) Penna.

Born in Pottsville, PA he was the son of the late Joseph P. Sr. and Marilyn (Haplin) Penna.

A graduate of Manheim Township High School Class of 1988, Joe would go onto work alongside of his father and eventually take over the family business, Action Mobile in Lancaster.

Known for his love of cars, his family often described him as "suffering from car disease", this inevitably forced him to collect a variety of imported and domestic autos. He was a member of the Suzuki Samurai Owners and the Japanese Mini Trucks of America. Joe was also a collector of antique fishing lures.

He was a loyal and devoted husband, father, brother and friend who found happiness in good conversation and enjoying a cold beer with good company.

In addition to his wife, Barbara, he is survived by his sons: Joseph P. Penna, III, George Penna, Jackson Penna; his sister: Kimberly Good and his niece, Michelle Good.

Funeral services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
