Joseph P. Penna, 66, of Neffsville, passed away, Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Pottsville, Pa., he was the son of the late Joseph and Catherine (Zelonis) Penna. Joseph was the husband of Marilyn Halpin.

Joseph was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church. He loved to fish and spend time with his family, who will miss him.

Surviving in addition to his wife Marilyn is a son; Joseph Penna Jr. husband of Barbara of Columbia, and a daughter; Kimberly A. Good wife of Edward Brock of Lancaster. 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, April 27, 2009 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church 601 E. Delp Rd. Lancaster 17601 at 11 a.m. with Msgr. Richard Youtz as celebrant. Family and friends will be received Sunday, April 26, 2009 at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home and Chapel 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz 17543 from 6-8 p.m. and again on Monday at the church from 10-11 a.m. Interment will follow at Landis Valley Mennonite Cemetery.
