Joseph S. Meluzio, 78, of Lancaster, passed away on Friday at Lancaster General Hospital.

He was the husband of Helen Gore Meluzio, with whom he celebrated 58 years of marriage this past May 14 ^th . Born in East Lansdowne, PA, Joseph was the son of the late Americo and Mary Cozzone Meluzio.

A steel salesman, Joseph had worked for the York Steel Co. for 12 years. Previous to York, he had also worked for Republic Steel Co for 31 years and the High Steel Co.

He was an avid golfer, fisherman and hunter. He loved to spend time with his family and enjoyed woodworking.

Joseph served with the 28 ^th Division of the PA National Guard.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 sons, Joseph S. married to Linda Meluzio of Farmington Hills, MI, and Steven G. married to Joanne Meluzio of Media, PA; 5 grandchildren: Alexandrea, Joseph Jr., Kimberly, Jacqueline, and Stephanie; 2 great grandchildren, Landen and Benjamin, and by a brother, Frank Meluzio of Delaware.

Friends will be received by Joseph's family on Monday from 7-9PM at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home and Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA.
