Joseph Masters went home to his Lord on August 1 2014. He was born March 18, 1925 to Ernesto and Flora (DeNino) Mastromatteo in Toronto, Ontario Canada. He married Rose Edith Prince in 1948. They were blessed with six children. He was an engineer and executive, retiring from Bechtel Consulting, Inc. in 1982. An avid bridge player, he also enjoyed horse racing and stamp and coin collecting.

He is survived by his wife of six years, Rosario Haggerty Masters, of Fort Lauderdale, FL and both were active members of St. Henry Catholic Church, Pompano Beach, FL.

Surviving Joseph are his brothers, Ernesto, Larry, and John Mastromatteo of Canada; Sons, Daniel (Carole) Masters of St. Louis, MO, Ronald Masters of Fond Du Lac, WI and daughter Flora Forella of Fort Collins, CO. Also, 13 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Joseph was preceded in death by his first wife of 54 years, Rose Edith, and three of their children, Linda, Joseph, and Mary Elizabeth.

A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, August 6, St. James Catholic Church, 505 Woodcrest Ave. Lititz, PA, at 11 AM with the Rev. James O'Blaney as Celebrant.
