Joseph John Lamoureux, 90, was born in Darby, PA on January 30, 1934. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Tamara. He was the son of the late Joseph Alfred John and Catherine Tumbelty Lamoureux. His surviving children are Diane Marie Gegg and Julia Elizabeth. He is predeceased by his sister Catherine Monica Lipkin and brother David R. Lamoureux. Also surviving are grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

After graduating from high school at age 17 he enlisted in the US Navy during the Korean War. After serving he went to college and upon graduating began his career in accounting, becoming a CPA and working at numerous places. His final job he served as Controller at Ames Construction, Ephrata, PA.

Singing was a part of his life throughout childhood and adult life. He sang in many church choirs as a child and as an adult and sang to his children often. He was a member of S.P.E.B.S.Q.S.A. a barbershop singing quartet.

He volunteered in various service organizations. He retired at 72 years but kept his involvement with the Vita Tax program for many years. He also enjoyed reading, having coffee with his friends and playing golf with fellow seniors.
