Joseph James "Joey" Fulginiti, 25, of Lancaster, formerly of Elizabethtown lost his battle with drug addiction on June 7, 2017. Born in Lancaster on May 7, 1992 he was the son of Tammy (Stark) Helm of Harrisburg and the late James J. Fulginiti. Joey graduated from Elizabethtown Area High School in 2010 and was known to be a happy-go-lucky guy and a hard worker, was personable and had a great sense of humor, and enjoyed basketball. He served as a material handler for FedEx in Middletown. In addition to his mother, Joey is survived by siblings Brooke Fulginiti, of Elizabethtown, Monica Marie Horst, of FL, paternal grandparents Sam and Joan Fulginiti, of Lancaster, maternal grandfather Carl Stark, aunts Tina Kirchner (Jim), of Lancaster, Marianne Ruppel (Willi), of Nevada, Deborah Charles (Harry), of Elizabethtown, and uncle Sam "Butch" Fulginiti, Jr., of Lancaster. In addition to the loss of his father in 1999, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kyle Fulginiti, in 2008. Friends and family will be received on Sunday, June 11, 2017 from 12noon-2PM with a Memorial Service following at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr., Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike. Interment will follow at the St. Joseph's New Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum, Bausman, PA. Memorial contributions may be made in Joey's memory to The Caron Foundation, 243 N.
