November 17, 2015
Joseph S. "Joe" Hollister, 78, of Mt. Joy Road, Mt. Joy, PA, passed away unexpectedly at Lancaster Regional Hospital on Tuesday, November 17, 2015. He was the husband of Elizabeth L. He enjoyed history and was an excellent handyman, able to make a part for a part. He will be remembered for his selfless personality as he would help out anyone, often bringing someone home when their car broke down or offering his own car to someone. Though direct and tough, you knew where you stood with Joe, and his sense of humor and kindness will hold a special place in everyone's heart. Most of all, he loved his family. In addition to his wife, Elizabeth, he is survived by seven children, Anne Marie, wife of Jeffrey Witmer, Butler, TN, Joseph II, husband of Patricia A.
