Joseph F. Finger Sr., 86, passed away September 22, 2018 at St. Anne's Retirement Community. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Joan, and his children, Joseph Finger, Jr. (Jolyn Finger), Thomas Finger (Dorothy Rund) and Barbara Halpin (Michael Groff), eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Joe worked at Kerr Glass/Armstrong for 34 years and, after retirement, operated his own painting business. In his younger years, Joe played baseball for many years and later coached midget football. He enjoyed being involved in his children's and grandchildren's high school and college sports, rarely missing a game.

Joe was a volunteer EMS for 29 years and was given a Sertoma award due to his extensive volunteer service. He was a proud Army veteran and a lifetime member of AMVETS.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Bural which will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 28, 2018 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 501 East Orange Street, Lancaster, PA. The family will receive friends at the church before the service from 10 am to 11 am. Interment will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
