Joseph A. Dickerson, Sr., of Dover, Delaware, passed away October 3, 2013 at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. He was the son of the late William Sr., and Anna (Kotzman) Dickerson. He was a graduate of Father Judge High School. Joseph worked as an Air Force Transportation Material Handler at Dover Air Force Base. He is survived by 3 children; Renee Dickerson Dill, of Hartly, DE, Joseph Dickerson Jr., husband of Cyrena, of Hartly, DE, Thomas Dickerson, husband of Erin, of Hokesson, DE, 2 brothers; William Dickerson Jr., of New Providence, PA and Dennis Dickerson, of Dover, DE, and 6 grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held at 3PM Friday, October 11, 2013, at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St, Lancaster, PA 17602, with Father Mark Weiss officiating. A viewing will take place 2-3PM at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Sharon Hill Cemetery in Dover, DE on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Noon.
