Joseph K. Bryson, 98, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on May 28, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Joseph L. and Edith M. (Spicer) Bryson. Joe was the loving husband of 62 years to the late Rowena (Sheets) Bryson.

He graduated in 1939 from McCaskey High School and was part of the first graduating class of McCaskey. A veteran, Joe served in the US Army during WWII. After 32 years of service, he retired from RCA as a tool & die maker. Joe enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He was active in Boy Scouts for 30 years as a boy scout and an assistant scout master. Joe was a member of Lancaster Church of the Brethren.

Surviving is a son, Kenneth J. Bryson, husband of Kathleen of Willow Street, PA; 2 grandchildren: Kenneth J. Bryson, Jr. and Amy L. Walborn; and 4 great-granddaughters: Abigail, Lyla, Lillian and Olivia.

A visitation will be held from 10-11 AM with a Funeral Service to begin at 11 AM on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 N. George Street, Millersville, PA 17551. Joe will be laid to rest at Riverview Burial Park.
