Jose Luis Diaz, 58, of Lancaster died at Lancaster General Hospital on April 13 ^th , 2007. Born in Patillas, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Cristobal and Maria Soto Diaz. He was married to Basilisa DeJesus.

Surviving besides his wife are two sons: Jose Luis Diaz Jr., Oswaldo Diaz, four stepchildren: Daniel Martinez, Luz N. Silvente, Amirta Alvarado, Alberto Alvarado, seven grandchildren, sixteen step-grandchildren, six sisters: Maria Cora, Noelia Ramos, Adeladelada  Rivera, Juanita Jimenez, Elizabeth Morales, Evelyn Diaz, and  one brother: Cruz Diaz.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at the Spanish Assemblies of God, 626 S. Duke Street, Lancaster, PA at 10:30am. Interment in Mellinger's Mennonite Cemetery following the funeral service A viewing will be held at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E. King Street, Lancaster on Tuesday evening from 7-9:00PM and on Wednesday morning at the church from 9-10:30am .
