Jose D. delValle, 77, of 900 E. King St., Lancaster, and a former long-time resident of New York City, went to be with The Lord on Saturday, October 6, 2007.

He was the husband of the late Luz P. Quinones delValle, who passed away in 2006.

Born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, Jose was the son of the late Quentin delValle and the late Josefa Rivera.

He had worked for the Grumbacher Paint Co. in New York City for 30 years, until his retirement in 1986.

He worshipped with In The Light Ministries of Lancaster.

Baseball was a passion of Jose's, and he was an avid New York Mets fan. His family was also of great importance in his life.

He is survived by 3 children: Edgar  married to Ada delValle of Lancaster, Wanda married to Michail Theodorou of Queens, NY, and Albert delValle of Lancaster; 3 grandchildren: John, Veronica, and Nina,;and by 2 great grandchildren: Ciara and Eliana.
