Jose "Pretty Boy" M. Valentin, 53, of Lancaster, passed away on October 15, 2020 at UPMC Pinnacle Hospital in Harrisburg. Born in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico he was the son of Carmen Pabon and the late Jose Valentin, Sr.

Pretty Boy will be remembered as someone you could always turn to in your time of need. He did everything he could to help others and was always a reliable and loyal person. He had a very outgoing personality with a great sense of humor. He was the owner of Valentin Home Repairs, where he was always hard working and on the go. In his free time Pretty Boy enjoyed cheering for the New York Giants and anything relating to karate.

He will be sorely missed by his mother, longtime companion, children; Dejanira Valentin, companion of Edwin, Ashley Valentin, companion of Eddie, and Jose Valentin Jr., all of Lancaster, grandchildren; Alyis, Laniyah, Julian, Zayden, Kaylynn, Mesiah, Noah, Julius, and Genesis and siblings; Marisol Valentin, Judith Montanez, Jose E. Valentin, Julio Valentin, David Valentin, Victor Valentin, and Hernan Mercado Jr. He was preceded in passing by his father.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St. Lancaster, PA 17602 from 2PM-4PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26, 2020 at 11AM with a viewing from 10AM-11AM, also at the funeral home.
