Jonathan L. Daily, 33, of Parkesburg, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 6, 2021 at home. Born in Chester County, he was the son of Judith (Shultz) Daily of Parkesburg, with whom he resided, and Jack Daily, Jr. of Lancaster.
After graduating from high school, Jonathan attended technical school and worked as an IT Technical Specialist for various communication companies. He was a very loving and extremely gifted individual, especially in technology and computer repair. He had an extensive collection of comic books and Star Wars figurines. As a former hockey player himself, Jonathan was an avid Philadelphia Flyers fan. He enjoyed watching Eagles football games with his mom, as well as, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune, always knowing all of the right answers. After numerous trips to Disney World, he acquired an appreciation for all things "Disney." Jonathan was passionate about music and played bass guitar both at home and in a band. He loved his family, but most importantly his son, Joey, with all of his heart.
Along with his parents and son, Jonathan is survived by his sister, Sarah Dalto, her husband Michael and their children Avery, Logan and Caleb, of Mechanicsburg. Also surviving is his paternal grandmother, Lois Daily of Lancaster; an aunt, Constance Bennett and her husband Snowden of Houston, TX; cousins Aaron Bennett, his wife Claudia, and their daughter Charlotte of Dallas, TX, and Adam Bennett of Houston, TX. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, John and Helen Shultz, and his paternal grandfather, Jack Daily, Sr.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 19, 2021, at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike. Lititz, PA 17543, where the family will receive guests beginning at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, a special bank account has been established for Jonathan's son, Joseph. Contributions can be made via/through Citadel FCU, 4051 West Lincoln Highway Parkesburg, PA 19365. Please make checks payable to Joseph Daily.
