Jon G. Gamby, 65, died on February 21, 2013 at the Lancaster General Hospital following a long illness.  He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Patricia; son, David of Maine; brother, Peter, his wife Nancy and their son, Matthew.

Jon had a long banking career on Long Island and New York.  He retired from the Bank of New York.  Before moving to Lancaster, PA, after retirement, Jon had a passion for sailing.  He kept his sailboat on Long Island sound and spent many relaxing hours at sea.  He enjoyed taking his Labrador retrievers down to the water to play.

Jon proudly served in the U.S. Navy and was a Vietnam Veteran.
