John C. Schnell, 88, of Lancaster, passed away on Friday, March 30, 2018. He was born in Manheim to the late Sylvia L. (Kissinger) and Ralph C. Schnell John enjoyed being outdoors. He loved to fish and hunt. He liked camping in his free time. Most of all, he enjoyed making people laugh. John is survived by his children: Kathleen L. (George) Carrigan of Williamsburg, VA, Arlene L. (Frank Butler) of Lititz, PA and Jeannine R. (Paul A.) Fry of Lancaster, PA; 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his previous wives, Margaret T. (Herr) Schnell and Mary E. (Wade) Schnell, he is preceded in death by his siblings: Ralph Schnell Jr. and Julia Kitson. Interment will be private at Riverview Burial Park, Lancaster, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice for All Seasons, 280 S Hill Dr, Grantville, PA 17028.
