John J. Pironis, 77, of New Providence, passed away January 4, 2024, after a courageous 10-year battle with pancreatic cancer. Born in Bobenhausen, Germany he was the son of the late Verners and Alise Lize Pironis. He shared over 20 years with Dorothy Pironis.

John's sense of humor will be remembered by all who knew him. His favorite number was 17, so whenever a question was asked, regardless of accuracy, his answer would be 17. He was famous for his canned spicy pickles and enjoyed visiting casinos.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy; children, Jahnis Pironis, Jess Pironis, Lauren Pironis, and Zachary Trimble, 1 brother and 2 sisters.
