John F. Marks, 64, of Lancaster passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 9, 2025. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Barbara (Schrader) Marks. He was the longtime companion of Carol Franklin for over 39 years.

He worked at the former RCA and was a supervisor for Welsh Maintenance Co.

John adored his grandchildren, Gage and Corinthia and drives along the river.

In addition to Carol, he is survived by his daughter, Jessica Marks of Marietta, PA and two grandchildren, Gage and Corinthia. Also surviving are three brothers, Thomas Marks (Mindi) of Mt. Joy, PA, Bill Marks (Lisa) of Columbia, PA, Jim Marks of Beaufort, NC; sister, Susan Davidson of Akron, PA and niece, Chrissy Rineer (Zeb) of Denver, PA.

Funeral Services will be held at 11AM on Monday, August 18, 2025 at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Family and friends will be received from 10-11AM at the funeral home on Monday. In lieu of flowers, contributions in John's memory may be made to the PA Wounded Warriors Inc., 1013 Mumma Rd, Suite 203, Wormleysburg, PA 17043.
