John L. Leakway, 33, of Columbia, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2016. He was the son of Edward S. Leakway II and the late Lorrie (Dangro) Leakway. John was employed by Genesys Controls Corporation of Lancaster as a craftsman. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. John will be truly missed by his family: children, Kayle Noel, Jayden Scott, and Presley Marie; siblings, Shannon Flores (Louis) of Columbia, Randy Cooper (Brittany Trimble) of Columbia, Christina Roth Leakway (Jeremy) of Elizabethtown, Kayla Gee (Tony) of Wellsboro and Erin Leakway of Columbia; his grandmother, Mary M. Leakway. He was preceded in death by his girlfriend, Nicole Dragon. A viewing for family and friends will be held from 5-7 PM on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E. King St. Lancaster, PA 17602, followed by a special tribute at 7PM. Inurnment will be held at St. Joe New Catholic Cemetery 9 AM on Thursday, October 13, 2016. The family asks that all guests dress in their favorite sports team jersey or attire, especially the Philadelphia Eagles.
