John W. King, 88, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on October 10, 2016 at Lancaster Regional Medical Center. Born in Coatesville, PA, he was the son of the late John H. King & Estella O. (Orr) King. John was the husband of Frances F. (McCauley) King. A veteran of the US Air Force, John served in Vietnam during the Vietnam War. He retired as a Master Sergeant after 25 years of service. He was a member of Honeybrook Presbyterian Church. John enjoyed music and sang in the AARP Chorus. He also enjoyed football and followed the Philadelphia Eagles team. He walked the mall for exercise since 1995. Surviving in addition to his wife, Fran, are children: John T. King, husband of Diane, and Linda J. Zedan, wife of James; stepchildren: Stuart Flinn, husband of Lori, and Amy Coulter, wife of Miles; grandchildren: Christopher & Jennifer, wife of Kevin, Matthew & Lisa, wife of Eric; step-grandchildren: Allyson & Emily; great-grandchildren: Nathan, Claire & Estelle; and a brother, Robert King. John was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy M. (Hicken) King; and a brother, Charles King. Friends will be received from 1:30-2 PM with a Memorial Service to begin at 2 PM on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the Charles F.
