John L. "Johnny" Hudson, 95, of Lancaster, went to his eternal reward on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 surrounded by family and friends at his home. His loving wife and family matriarch of 60 years, Elnora (Weeks) Hudson died June 17, 2007.

Johnny was born in New Orleans and will be sadly missed by his children and their spouses: Frederick (Charlotte) Weeks; Caroline Weeks; Louise Savage (Ronald); Lorraine Davis; Diane Russ (Steve); John Weeks (Andrea); Gretchen Erhardt; Arlene Traore (Abdourhamae); and Tina Weeks; 19 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday, August 30, 2013 at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St., Lancaster with Minister Gretchen Erhardt officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 2 hours prior to the service. Burial will be in Millersville Mennonite Cemetery.
