John H. "Jack" Andrews, 79, of Lancaster, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022.

He was the husband of Catherine M. Yenetskie Andrews. Born in Ashland, he was the son of the late Wilbur A. and Ruth Shaup Andrews. Jack was a graduate of Mahanoy Area High School.

He had worked for Service Electric TV Cable for 43 years, until retiring in 2010 as Head End Technician. He was a member of the Shenandoah Heights Fire Company.

Jack was a US Army veteran, serving as and SP4 from 1960 to 1963, being stationed in Korea.

He was an avid Penn State and Philadelphia Eagles football fan, and he enjoyed gardening.

In addition to his wife, Catherine, he is survived by his children: John H. Jr., married to Beulah Andrews of Raleigh, NC, Donna married to Melvin Soto of Lancaster, and Karen Potts of York; his 8 grandchildren: Alyssa married to Cale Coln, Sydney Andrews, Devon, Domenic, and Deanna Soto, and Gregory Jr., Rachel and Geana Potts. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert "Bob" Andrews and his sister, Roberta Becker.

Graveside services with military honors will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, PA on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 1:30PM. In lieu of flowers donate to Faith United Church of Christ, Box 45, Delano PA 18220.
