Our father and Pop-Pop, John Adam Imhof, formerly of Ship Bottom and Lavalette N.J., passed away on Monday April 27, 2015. John was born the only child of Carrie and John P. Imhof on May 19, 1936 in Brooklyn NY. John married Elizabeth "Betty" Happich on October 10, 1959. They had three children and were married for sixteen years.

John's previous employers include, but not limited to Celanese Corp., Beach Haven Plumbing Supply and bartending. While in Rahway John was a member of the local Jaycees and Knights of Columbus. After moving to Ship Bottom, he joined the Ship Bottom Volunteer Fire Department.

On October 1, 2003 John relocated to Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation in Carlisle Pennsylvania where he resided the rest of his life. He was preceded in death by both of his parents. He is survived by daughter Susan (husband Greg) Wyatt of Boise, ID, daughter Cathy Stockton of Meridian, ID, and son John F. Imhof (wife Karen) of Strasburg Pa. He had 9 grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Claremont Nursing & Rehabilitation center, 1000 Claremont Dr., Carlisle, PA 17013, or PA Wounded Warriors, Inc., 1117 Country Club Road, Camp Hill, Pa 17011. Interment is private.
