John "Steven" Drager, 79, of Manheim, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Neffsville Nursing & Rehab. Born in Lancaster to the late Herman M. and Edna J. (Batcheler) Drager, Steven was the cherished husband of Nancy (Lawrence) Drager. The couple shared 57 wonderful years of marriage.

A proud 1963 graduate of Hempfield High School, Steven went on to earn his bachelor's degree from Millersville University in 1970. He dedicated many years to teaching biology and later worked as a chemist and lab technician at Kellogg's for over two decades.

Steven's passions included boating, fishing, Ham Radio, and tinkering on his truck—he was truly a jack-of-all-trades. His deep love for his dog and cats was evident, and his greatest joy in life was being a devoted family man, treasuring every moment with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy, and their children: Anthony, husband of Michele, of Thorndale; Chris, husband of Tahra, of Landisville; and Stephanie Wolpert, wife of Larry, of Mount Joy, as well as his eight grand-children.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday, March 21, 2025, at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Visitation begins at 10:00 AM, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane League of Lancaster , honoring Steven's love for animals.
