John Christopher Williams, 56, of East Petersburg died on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at ManorCare South in York after a lengthy illness. Born in Lancaster he was the son of Patsy A. (Herr) Williams and the late Harry P. Williams.

He worked at the Manheim Auto Auction as an Inspector in the Exotic Car Department. John was a cat lover who adored his two cats Zhora and Pulse. He was a Phillies and Notre Dame fan, and he loved to travel all over the world. He was a rock music enthusiast and enjoyed listening to music and going to concerts. John was also a fine arts collector, who especially liked Scandinavian glass pieces.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Heather Marie Lenhart, wife of Robert of Lancaster, sister Mary Catherine Bouder, wife of Daniel of Manheim, brother Michael Patrick Williams, husband of Denise of Manheim, and his nieces and nephews: Michael Wayne Williams, Ann Marie Williams, Nichole Miller, Danielle Dorwart, Matthew Lenhart, Adam Lenhart, and Anastasia Williams. He was preceded in death by his two sisters Sharon Ann Williams and Esther Jane Williams.

A Memorial Service will be private and at the convenience of the family.
