John H. Beamsderfer III, 49, of Millersville, passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at his home after an extended illness. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Bruce Beamsderfer and the late Linda (Tompkins) Bachman. John was the fiancé of Kelly Bellamine, with whom he shared the last five years.

John graduated from Manheim Township High School with the Class of 1986. From 1988-1992, he honorably served his country as a member of the U.S. Marine Corps. Before becoming disabled he worked as a fork lift operator for XPO Logistics in East Petersburg. John was a diehard Green Bay Packers fan, and was obsessed with the Grateful Dead, having attended many of their concerts over the years.

In addition to his fiancé, John is survived by a son, Jonathan Beamsderfer of Corona, CA; a daughter, Mikayla McCauley of Millersville; and his step-father, Robert Bachman of Millersville. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
