Johanna M. "Yoka" Molenaar, 89, of Willow Valley Lakeside, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018. Born in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, she was the daughter of the late Wilhelmus and Maria (Tijs) Van Munster, and the loving wife of Jacobus J. "Ko" Molenaar, with whom she shared 62 years of marriage this month. A giving person, she dedicated herself to caring for others. She was active in working with orphanages, refugees, and international adoption groups, in addition to pursuing interests in oil painting and flower arranging. In addition to her husband, she is survived by family scattered around the globe: daughters Diane, Marietta, wife of Christopher, and Annette, five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a brother, Wim. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 2111 Millersville Pike, Lancaster, PA 17603. Private interment will be in the Willow Street UCC Cemetery. Family and friends will be received from 10:30-11AM at the church before mass.
