Joanne M. Martz, 62, of High St., Lancaster, died August 4, 2006 at Lancaster Regional Medical Center.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Earl and Josephine Pitz Roschel of Lancaster. She was married for 27 years to Charles Martz.

Joanne was employed at Speed's Steak Shop, Lancaster. She previously worked for Watt & Shand in the display department.

Surviving besides her husband are four children, Sherry, married to Daniel DeGrace of Lancaster, Kelly, married to Henry M. Young of Pequea, John, married to Lynn Broughman of Trenton, Maine, and Tai Martz of Columbia; 13 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Earl, Jr., married to Sandra Roschel of Pequea.

Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
