Joanne M. (Frantz) Tshudy, 63, of Lancaster, died suddenly Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Hershey Medical Center. Born in Lancaster, she was the wife of Alan E. Tshudy, Sr. of Lancaster and the daughter of the late Andrew and Sarah P. (Rieghard) Frantz. An avid hockey fan, Joanne will be missed by her family and two cats, Stan and Moo. A 1972 graduate of McCaskey High School, she was employed by Lancaster Newspapers as a packer until her retirement. In addition to her husband of 20 years, she is survived by her children: Andrew T. Frantz and his partner Stacy Like of Conestoga, Christy Markal and her partner Andrew Smith of Dover, PA, Alan E. Tshudy, Jr. of Lancaster, Amanda Maynor and her husband Dustin of Benton, PA, and Melissa Raffensburger and her husband Randall of Mount Joy; 11 grandchildren; her brother, Richard "Dick" Frantz and his wife Sandy of Millersville; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday, December 26, 2014 at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz with Pastor Mark Thiboldeaux officiating. Friends will be received from 9 to 11 AM at the funeral home prior to the service. Burial will follow in Conestoga Memorial Park.
