Joanne Eileen Colfer, 78, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2025. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Regina (Shields) Horan. She was married 59 years to her beloved husband Robert E. Colfer.

Joanne graduated from high school in Philadelphia. She worked as a receptionist for a doctor's office for many years. She and Bob enjoyed traveling and spending time in their mountain home in the Pocono's. Joanne was an avid reader and cherished the ample time spent with her family and friends.

In addition to her husband, Joanne is survived by 2 sons: Robert E. Colfer, Jr. (Kathleen) and Sean P. Colfer (Nicole); and 2 grandchildren: Ashley Takvorian (Dakota) and Cheyanne Gainer. She was predeceased by her infant son, Joseph Colfer, and brother, Dennis Horan.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 11 AM at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. The family will receive guests beginning at 10 AM.
