Joann Privette, 83, of Lancaster, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 30, 2025. Born in North Wilkesboro, NC, she was the daughter of Dewey R. Meyers and Carrie Mae Meyers. Preceding in death, her husband, James W. Privette of 55 years.

She worked with the USDA as a food safety inspector for 36 years. She enjoyed genealogy and doing crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her children, James D. Privette, wife Svetlanna of Copperas Cove, TX, and Jennifer Fessler, husband Ed Fessler of Cincinnati, OH. Five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and sister Beverly Miller, of NC.
