Joani K. Sheaffer, 53, of Salunga passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023. Born in Pottstown, PA she was the daughter of Eugene and Kathleen (Deaner) Baldwin. She was the loving wife of the late Baird Sheaffer who passed away in 2019.

She was a graduate of Hempfield High School. Joani went onto work for the US Post Office as a mail carrier for over 30 years.

Joani was an avid member of A Girl & A Gun Women's Shooting League and the Columbia Fish & Game. In her spare time, she enjoyed roller skating, gardening, and adored animals, especially her dogs.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son, Ian G. Sheaffer, husband of Amanda of Landisville; two grandchildren, Gwendolyn, Gracie, and a host of loving extended family.

A Service Celebrating Joani's Life will be held at 11AM on Monday, October 23, 2023 at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Family and friends will be received from 9-11AM at the funeral home on Monday. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joani's memory may be made to the Pet Pantry of Lancaster County, 26 Millersville Rd, Lancaster, PA 17601.
