Joan E. Swinehart, 79, of Lancaster passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Essa Flory Hospice Center. She was a homemaker and the wife of the late John H. Swinehart who died April 10, 2011.

Born in Ephrata, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Beatrice Lippus Greener.

She is survived by two daughters, Sheri Swinehart, Patti Wolf, 3 grandchildren,2 great  grandchildren, 2 brothers, Richard Greener, Albert Greener Jr., and a nephew, Allen Greener. She was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
