Joan (Young) Franciscus, 88, of Lancaster, died Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Evergreen Estates, Lancaster. Born in Chambersburg, she was the wife of the late Rippey D. Franciscus, and the daughter of the late Frank and Pearl (Nickey) Young. Joan is survived by a daughter, Robin Maguire of Conestoga; 2 sons: Steve and his wife Kathi of Mechanicsburg and Tony and his wife Mary of Chester County; 6 grandchildren: Chris, Roger, Chad, Abby, Samantha, and Kimberly; and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Phil and Bud Young, and a son-in-law, Roger Maguire. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, July 8, 2016 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville with Chaplain Jeff Warner officiating.
