Jill Ann Hamsher-Bridgeman, 65, of Columbia, PA passed away on September 25, 2017 at Lancaster General Hospital after a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Jack and Rubie Hamsher of Chambersburg and the step-daughter of Pete John, also of Chambersburg.

Jill was a native of Chambersburg and attended Chambersburg Area Senior High School. She went on to attend Shepherd College in Shepherdstown, WV.

Jill was employed at Stauffers of Kissel Hill.

She is survived by her husband Jere Bridgeman, her brother Jack Hamsher, step-father Pete, their respective families, and more friends than can be counted. Her quick and easy smile and magntic demeanor touched the lives of everyone she met.

Memorial celebrations will be held Saturday, October 7th at the Catholic War Veterans, 250 N. 7th Street, Columbia, PA from 2:00-6:00, and Saturday, October 14th at 85 Willowbrook Drive in Chambersburg, PA, from 2:00-6:00. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
