Jessica L. Sun, 57, of East Petersburg, passed away peacefully at Conestoga View Nursing Home, Thursday, March 22, 2018, following a long battle against Juvenile Diabetes. Born in Singapore, she was the daughter of Malcolm R. and Rhoda H. (Kieffer) Bradshaw. She was the loving wife of Wanda M. Welch. Jessica received her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from the University of the Philippines. She worked as a social worker for LAMBS Orphanage and CRIBS New Beginnings. Throughout her life, Jessica fought hard for human rights and was passionate for social justice. In addition to her parents and wife, Jessica is survived by her children: Christina Sun-Hean, wife of Adam, and Christopher Sun, husband of Ashley; one grandson, Mason Hean; five siblings: Todd Bradshaw, husband of Christina, Gregory Bradshaw, Caroline Bradshaw Pease, wife of Wayne, Maria Bradshaw, and Michelle Bradshaw Clauss, wife of Corey; and a host of nieces and nephews. Memorial Services for Jessica will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in Jessica's memory be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation at www.jdrf.org .
