Jerry J. Amlong, 79, passed away Thurs. June 9, 2016 at his Penn Twp. home. He was born in Dallas, TX to the late George & Estelle Amlong (McBride) & raised by stepfather Lucius McBride. Jerry was the husband of Judy Amlong for 55 years.

He graduated from both Jesuit Prep School for Boys & N. Texas State University. Jerry was an avid Texas Longhorns & Dallas Cowboys fan, he loved to golf and he loved horse racing.

In addition to his wife Judy, Jerry is survived by their 4 children: Lisa, wife of David Sharp (Lititz) & daughters Meghan & Kiley, Karen, wife of Charles Sherek (Royse City, TX) & sons Justin & Kyle, Kurt Amlong (Albuquerque, NM) & sons Shane & Noah, & Patrick Casey Amlong, husband of Chastity (Manheim) & daughter Caitlyn; & 2 great-granddaughters, Mia & Hayden

Jerry's family will receive friends from 10 AM to 12 PM on Sat. 6/18/16 at the Spacht-Snyder Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 127 S. Broad St., Lititz, PA 17543, with a celebration luncheon following at the Germania Band Club, 41 S. Pitt St., Manheim, PA 17545. Interment will be private.
