Jennie E. Mentzer, 88, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2014 at the Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary (Lombardo) Agresta. Jennie was the wife of the late Donald R. Mentzer who died in 2007.

Jennie worked at Franklin & Marshall College in the cafeteria. She also was a baby-sitter for the Lancaster County Racquetball & Health Club. She loved children, Shirley Temple and collected Mickey Mouse. Jennie was a very loving mother and grandmother.

Surviving is a son, Nicholas Rohrer of Lancaster, PA; a grandson, Michael Rohrer, husband of Missy, of Palmyra, PA; two great-grandchildren: Tyler and Caylee; and a brother, John Agresta of York, PA.

Jennie was preceded in death by a sister, Marian Price.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at St. Anthony of Padua, 501 E. Orange Street, Lancaster, PA 17602 with Rev. Daniel Mitzel as Celebrant. A viewing will be from 10-11 AM at the church. Interment will be at 11 AM on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jennie's memory to Hospice & Community Care, 685 Good Drive, Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.
