Jeffrey S. Steffy, 56, of Akron, passed away at home, of natural causes, Monday, September 5, 2016. Born in Ephrata, he was the son of Robert Steffy and the late Violet (Wanner) Steffy. Jeff worked as a machine operator for 38 years with Johnson & Johnson, Lititz, until his retirement last year. Jeff was an avid hunter and fisherman, loved going to the beach and listening to classic rock. More than anything, he cherished the times spent with his grandson, Dylan. In addition to his father, Robert, Jeff is survived by his loving daughter, Shaina Foust (Robert), of Lititz; grandson, Dylan; siblings: Diane Anne (Larry), of Rothsville, Rick Steffy (Sandy), of Brickerville, and Walter Ream, of Brickerville; a host of nephews and nieces; and his best friend, Kelly Carroll. Memorial Services for Jeff will be held at 7PM, Monday, September, 12, 2016, at Spacht-Snyder Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 127 S. Broad St., Lititz, PA 17543. Visitation will be from 6-7PM.
