Jeffrey L. Boyd, 65, of Mount Joy, passed away at his home on April 5, 2013.

Born in Lancaster, he was the loving husband of Candace (Candy Gardner) and would have celebrated 29 years of marriage in May. He was the son of the late Thomas M. Boyd and Kathryn (Myers) Boyd.

Jeff, a former member of the Vagabonds, enjoyed riding his motorcycle, spending time with his show Boxers, Trucker, Bella, & Honey, and going to Gunnison Beach, NJ. He also participated in truck shows and owned a dump truck that was ranked in the top five of North America in the late 90's. He owned his own business, Jeff Boyd Trucking.

He was a veteran of the Army Reserve.

In addition to his wife, Jeffrey is survived by his son Jeffrey Boyd, Jr., of Landisville; daughter Joellyn Pizzola, wife of Anthony, of Mountville; sister Kathy Wintermyer, wife of Leon, of York; and 4 grandchildren.

A time for family and friends to gather and share memories will be held Sunday, April 14, 2013 at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. Visitation will be help from 12noon-2 PM, with a time for sharing at 2PM.
