Jeanet L. Trainor, 92, of Lancaster, died on Friday, January 25, 2008 at Conestoga View. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert F. Trainor, who died in 1992.

Born in Cohoes, NY, Mrs. Trainor was the daughter of the late Napoleon P. and Rose Rivers. In 1947, Jeanet, her husband, and family moved to Lancaster. She was a homemaker and also served as a Girl Scout Brownie Troop Leader and was a Red Cross volunteer at the former St. Joseph Hospital. She was also a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Lancaster.

Mrs. Trainor is survived by 4 children: Robert P. of Kansas City, MO, Evelyn Rineer of Rockaway, NJ, Brian R. and Barry E., both of Lancaster, and three grandsons. She is also survived by a brother, Armand Rivers of Troy, NY.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 930-1030AM at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA, with the funeral service to follow at 1030AM. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family
