Jean R. Sullenberger, 70, of Lancaster passed away April 25, 2023. She was born to the late John and Nora Lefever in the winter of 1953. She spent her life dedicated to helping others as a registered nurse.

Jean took great pride in her work as a nurse and spent nearly 30 years with Conestoga View before going to United Zion where she eventually retired. She never missed a day of work and was diligent in providing the best care for the community. She was also devout to her faith and was a member of the Lampeter Church of the Brethren. In her free time, Jean enjoyed baking pies and cookies, going on walks, and having a bowl of ice cream every night. She will be dearly missed by those who loved her.

Jean is survived by her children, Lori Sullenberger, Mindy Sullenberger, and Chad Sullenberger; her siblings, Lois Umble wife of Vernie, Kaye Eby wife of Donnie, and Fred Lefever; her grandchildren Dante Eby, Cameron Hollow, Aleena Duke, and Ace Willson; and her great grandchildren, Kyrie, Dante Jr., and Jaylen.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday May 2, 2023, at Strasburg Mennonite Cemetery, 1514 Village Rd, Strasburg, PA 17579 at 1pm.
