Jean E. Saunders, 95, of Willow Valley at the Lakes, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016. Born in East Orange, NJ, she was the daughter of the late George D. and Lydia M. (Belli) Emmons. She was the wife of the late Albert Saunders, Jr., who passed away in 2010. She is survived by her daughter, Jemmie S. Bartlett wife of Thomas of Lancaster; two sons, D. Matt Saunders husband of Christy of New Freedom, PA, Drew C. Saunders husband of Nina of Wayne, PA and daughter-in-law, Joan Saunders of Lancaster. Also surviving are ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her son, Douglas Saunders. A Memorial Service will be held at 11AM on Saturday, January 7, 2017 in the Thomas Auditorium at the Lakes of Willow Valley, 300 Willow Valley Square, Willow St, PA 17584. In lieu of flowers contributions in Jean's memory may be made to the Water Street Mission, 210 S. Prince St, Lancaster, PA 17603.
