Jean M. Moyer, 67, of 432 New Holland Ave., Lancaster, passed away on Monday afternoon at the Essa Flory Hospice Center.

She was the wife of George A. Moyer, with whom she shared 27 years of marriage. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Thomas F. and Irene Henry White.

Jean had worked in the offices of Barley Snyder LLC in Lancaster for 18 years, working there until 2004.

Jean loved to garden, enjoyed walking and jigsaw puzzles. She also enjoyed collecting teddy bears and going shopping.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Michelle A.  married to Edward Gardner of Lancaster; her son, James E. Boice, Jr. of Lancaster, and her 3 grandchildren, Robert, David, and Katherine. Jean is also survived by her brothers, David H. and William W. White, both of Lancaster, and her sister, Jane E. Donahoo.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 10-11AM at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA, with the memorial service to follow at 11AM, with the Rev. Jim Donahoo officiating. Interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
