Jean Obed Jules, 47, of Lancaster, passed away unexpectedly at home, on Tuesday, November 24, 2020. Born in Anse D'Hainault, Haiti, he was the son of Hermann and Rosette (Toussaint) Jules.

Coming to the United States just 2 years ago, where Obed had earned a degree as a Pharmacist, he hoped to one day open his own pharmacy in Lancaster. Obed was very outgoing and loved to tell jokes. He enjoyed al things soccer – playing, watching and talking about it.

In addition to his parents, Obed is survived by his siblings: Darlyn Jules, Benthon Jules, Hermarc Jules, Bobadilla Noel, Samuel Jules, and Ketia Jules. He is also survived by many cousins: Family Nicolas, Family Cazal, Family Boliscar, Family St. Firmin, Family Enelas, Family Joint, Family Cebe, Family Alcindor, Family Deleau.

Family and friends will be received for a viewing from 6PM to 8PM, Friday, December 11, 2020 at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Funeral Services will be held at 10AM, Saturday, December 12, 2020 at the funeral home. Family and friends will be received from 9AM to 10AM prior to the service. COVID protocol will be strictly followed. Interment will follow at Millersville Mennonite Cemetery.
